I absolutely adored the beautiful and elegant decoration in every corner of the hotel. The classic and timeless style brought back fond memories of my younger days. The comfortable sofas in the lounge area were perfect for relaxing and reminiscing. The layout of the hotel was senior-friendly, with easy access to the elevator and minimal stairs. It made my stay all the more enjoyable.
I would have loved for the hotel to offer more activities or entertainment specifically catering to senior guests like myself. The children working there were polite and friendly, but I believe having a few more options to keep us entertained would have made for an even better vacation experience.

I recently stayed at Hotel De Bourgogne for a few nights during my visit to Nantes. The purpose of my travel was for sightseeing and exploring the city. The hotel exceeded my expectations in many ways. the bathroom was incredibly spacious, and I loved the privacy of the bath tub. The staff at De Bourgogne were incredibly accommodating and attentive, ensuring that all my needs were taken care of. Despite ongoing construction in the street, the hotel remained surprisingly quiet. The secure internet connection was a bonus, and the check-in and check-out process was quick and easy. The location of the hotel was perfect, just a short walk away from the main railway station and the city center. I had a wonderful experience at this hotel.
Strongly recommend this hotel.

Apart from the fact that it was convenient to the railway station, there was little to recommend this hotel. The lobby looked comfortable and the lady that showed us to our room was pleasant.
When booking this hotel I had booked a double room with twin beds. On our arrival we were told that it would cost an extra 10 Euros for a twin bedded room, her excuse being that it had 2 beds. This sounded ridiculous seeing that it was a double room. The room itself was extremely small and shabby with one bedside locker at the outer side of one bed, leaving the other without anyplace to rest anything on. The bathroom had half a roll of toilet paper and the light bulb flickered constantly. Would I recommend this place? Definitely not. Would I stay here again? No!

Clean room and bathroom; courteous staff. Elevator
Old locks where room door has to be slammed to close and latch. One early wakeup call was 25 min late out of 4 calls total (the rest were on time).

The rooms at Hotel De Bourgogne are absolutely stunning! Each one is uniquely decorated, creating an unforgettable experience. I felt like I was staying in a work of art, with beautiful colors and patterns. As a family with kids, we truly appreciated the free WiFi and sound-insulated walls for a peaceful stay.
For me, personally, the only thing I didn't love was the en suite bathroom with a bath or shower. But hey, that's just my preference, and I know others might enjoy it.

We stayed at this hotel twice for a festival and found its location to be the best aspect. It is close to the train station and metro, near the castle and easy to get around this city. The breakfast was great and the staff were accommodating.

Excellent value for money. Friendly staff.
A bit out-of-date, but maybe that goes with the French charm ;)

Great location! The hotel has an enviable position right next to the train station, making it easy to get in and out of the city. The breakfast was fantastic too, with plenty of options for all tastes. We also loved the old-world charm of the hotel, with a slightly vintage feel that made it a unique stay.
The décor is a bit outdated and could do with a refresh. Some parts of the hotel also felt a little run-down, with older signs and details that could be brought up to date.

Convenient central location near railway station. The attic family rooms can get warm during warm weather, but the staff was helpful in providing fans to cool down the rooms. The family room was suitable for friends traveling together. Good location for exploring the city. No garage, but they were accommodating in finding space for our bicycles. I would recommend this hotel for its location and helpful staff.

Its convenience was the most important thing for me. It is opposite the railway station and as I arrived too late for a connecting train it was the perfect place to spend a night.
The room was quite small and the bathroom a bit old fashioned. While this made absolutely no difference to me as I was only staying overnight I probably wouldn't book a longer stay there. I think its main selling point is its convenience. The fact that I was able to book it just before leaving home on the morning I travelled was also fantastic.

The rooms at Hotel De Bourgogne are absolutely stunning. Each one is uniquely decorated with such a personal touch that it creates a truly memorable experience. The free WiFi and sound-insulated walls make it even better.
I personally found the en suite bathrooms with a bath or shower to be a little small, but others may find it charming.
